Honestly, I had some reservations about booking the boat beforehand as we’re not cruise boat people and prefer to travel on our own, but I am so glad we went with it. We had a small group who Ismail referred to as his “family” from the beginning and, by the end of the trip, we felt like we truly were. He saw to every detail while being extremely knowledgeable, fun and engaging, and providing experiences beyond anything we could have imagined. He consistently went the extra mile to make sure we had an unforgettable experience, even going so far as to arrange our COVID tests for the return trip home and ensuring we got the results in time. Our tour guide Ismail was definitely the icing on the cake, though. This cruise was the perfect way to see the amazing sites between Aswan and Luxor while still enjoying a little time to relax by the pool with a cocktail as we chugged down the Nile.
